BMW E36s are known for a few things—a perfectly balanced chassis, surprisingly modern appointments, robust straight six engines, catastrophic cooling system failures, and leaking power steering systems. Seriously, you're more likely to find an E36 with a leaking power steering system than one that doesn't (just ask me how I know).

Go ahead, look inside your engine bay and shine a light toward the power steering lines; there's a good chance you'll find fluid covering various hard lines and hoses. One of the most common leaks is at the bottom of the power steering reservoir and from there the fluid traces down/across everything. Sometimes this makes it difficult to see where the fluid actually originates from, so that's a great place to begin your search.

This convenient Comprehensive BMW E36 Power Steering Kit comes with not only everything you need but everything that should be replaced when servicing any part of your power steering system. That includes:

  • Power Steering Suction Hose
  • Power Steering Pressure Hose
  • Power Steering Return Hose
  • Power Steering Banjo Bolt
  • Engine Camshaft Oil Line Hollow Bolt
  • Power Steering Reservoir

As with everything we sell, everything in this kit comes with our Lifetime Replacement Guarantee, saving you even more money if you ever have to replace these for any reason in the future (extremely handy as the Power Steering Reservoir has a non-serviceable filter built in).
