Axle shaft seals are common wear items that aren't usually replaced as often as they should be. If these seals are neglected, dirt and debris can regularly cause gear oil leaks.

This specific axle shaft seal from Corteco fits a wide range of all-wheel-drive BMWs and even applies to several Land Rovers. To see if it fits your vehicle, just select your year, make, model and options from our drop down menu on the site's home page. Everything from the E46 325xi to the F06 650i xDrive Gran Coupe uses this same axle shaft seal in their AWD systems. Replacement of the front axles on the entire range of AWD BMWs is extremely common, and it's not unusual to find that these seals were never replaced when your axles shafts were previously replaced.
