FCP Euro Kits

The E55 AMG drift sedan goes coast-to-coast. Well, almost.

FCP Euro staffer Denis Ivanov's 2003 Mercedes-Benz is most commonly found linking turns at Sonoma Raceway, turning rear tire sets into puffy white smoke. No easy feat, considering the car is a heavy, leather-lined luxury sedan that still functions as a daily driver. But that looks easy, almost, when you compare it to what the car recently endured.

Because Denis needed to get to Connecticut to surprise a friend (our CEO, Scott Drozd), he decided to take the 3,000-mile one-way trip in the Dapper Drift mobile. Because why not?

In this video, we explore a strange concept—what if a car could not only link all the turns at a drift course but be an excellent coast-to-coast speed run machine?

That's this week on Dapper Drift. Don't forget to subscribe to get next week's episode, the second leg of the journey to CT, pushed to your inbox.
