#GRIDLIFE GameNight came to a close late Saturday night after three action-packed nights of sim-racing and retro gaming in the FCP Euro Experience Center. Friends, family, vendors, customers, even people uninterested in cars showed up to hang out and have a good time.
The FCP Euro Experience Center completely transformed, writing this from the very space that #GRIDLIFE GameNight occupied is a bit surreal as there isn't a hint of what took place here this weekend. The lot was filled with European cars from every make, the space that our VW GTI TCRs usually occupy was filled with the simulator stage, and my very workspace that I'm sitting in now was packed wall-to-wall with retro games.
The highlight of every single night here was easily the non-stop sim racing competition that ran throughout each night. Eight racers, eight sims, all running Forza with the Volkswagen GTIs sporting the FCP Euro livery racing each other in real-time. The winner of each heat progressed to a final round where prizes were awarded. Competition between friends, family members, and especially coworkers was fierce with the winner of most races only separated by just seconds at most.
Instead of telling you everything that happened though, check out all of our Instagram and Facebook albums along with our videos below.
