FCP Euro Kits

As your car ages, so does the suspension. Depending on where you live and your driving style, you may need to replace suspension components sooner than you realize. These replacement Lemforder control arms/torque struts for your big-body Mercedes include new bushings, taking the hassle out of pressing out the old ones and pressing in the new ones.

Over time your suspension wears out, and you might not immediately notice as it happens gradually. If you could compare your car's handling back-to-back from the day you purchased it to after you've racked up 70,000 miles, you'd immediately become aware (I know when I refreshed my suspension I had the "So that's what my car is supposed to feel like" revelation). As rubber ages, it becomes brittle and loses the ability to dampen movement. Eventually, the rubber can separate from the sleeve of the bushing and allow a considerable amount of motion; the opposite of what you want in a properly functioning suspension.

The weight that makes these Mercedes-Benz plush and luxurious is the same reason why the bushings wear out quickly. For the next time you need to replace your bushings, instead of struggling to press out the old bushings and press in the new ones, you can buy Lemforder control arms with new bushings pre-pressed in. This will save you time, money, and immeasurable amounts of frustration.
