Spring Brake Sale

Are the shocks and springs worn-out and ready for replacement on your Porsche 996, or maybe you just want to close up that stock wheel gap? Rather than reinstall stock suspension, or drop it on lowering springs, we sell a Sachs Performance coilover kit that will take the handling and looks of your 996 and turn it up to 11.

The Sachs Performance kit is a comfortable option for the street while also being perfect for the track. These coilovers feature an inverted-monotube design, which not only adds additional strength but makes servicing and rebound/compression adjustments a simple process.

Porsche 996 911 Sachs Performance Coilover Kit Replacement Symptoms

How do you know it's time to replace your struts/shocks? There are many different symptoms ranging from just subtle hints to your car basically shouting at you that it's time for the shocks to be replaced. Worn shocks and struts shouldn't be ignored as they pose safety concerns as well as place unnecessary wear on other components.

Some of the symptoms of failing shocks and struts on your Porsche 996 are:

  • Uneven or unusual tire wear
  • Front end diving hard under braking
  • Rear end squatting under acceleration
  • Vehicle lean when cornering
  • Fluid leaking on the outside of the shocks
  • Unstable at highway speeds
  • Excessively bouncy ride

Shocks and struts normally last between 30,000 to 50,000 miles depending on the type of vehicle you drive and the quality of roads you drive on. You should be looking for symptoms of worn shocks and struts at around the 50,000-mile mark.
