The Garage Door Is Up! - Experience Center Expansion Episode 7
Have you heard? We're expanding our facility to include a brand-new, 18,000 square-foot Customer Experience Center equipped with a full motorsports facility, content studio, 24-hour parts pickup and more. Just last week, most of the walls had only been framed. In this week's episode, one of our favorite design features–the main garage door–is finally installed.
In episode seven of our expansion updates, we focus on the new, twenty-two foot wide glass garage door. We could have just installed the typical garage bay doors, but there's a reason for going all out on this—we want to invite everyone inside! Whether it's our Cars and Coffee or a nice day during the summer, our door will be open for everyone to experience all of the amazing things happening within our facility.
Across the rest of the space, there's so much happening, yet there's still a ton to be done. Just last week, we had our first company meeting of 2019 atop the unfinished mezzanine where we unveiled our new VW TCR liveries. To see it now and picture where it will be in just a few short months is something special.
In the upcoming episode, my personal favorite part of the entire build is being assembled—the cyc (cyclorama) wall. Make sure to check back next week for more on this, as the design and construction of the wall is fascinating.
