Volkswagen/Audi MK6 (GTI, Q5, A4 & More) Water Pump - Features, Symptoms, And Product Review

Blog Feature

The 2nd and 3rd generation two-liter turbo Audi and Volkswagen engines are known to produce an oil leak from the cam cradle. This leak allows oil to run down the front of the engine block and onto the water pump housing. Over time this oil will deteriorate the plastic of the water pump housing causing a coolant leak.

Instead of buying another plastic water pump that will have the same fate as the one you're replacing, this upgraded water pump with an aluminum housing will prevent future failures caused by oil leaks.
